This quick and easy organic homemade lotion bar is absolutely perfect for beginners with all natural and organic ingredients that not only will nourish your skin but also leave you feeling soothed and relaxed! Who could ask for more!

The amazing thing about this recipe is that not only is it super simple and easy to do, but all the base ingredients except for the essential oils are the exact same amount. That way, this recipe is easily halved or doubled.

These bars make absolutely amazing gifts for friends, family, or your partner. You can get super fun with these. When it’s Christmas time, get Christmas themed silicon molds and give these as little Christmas gifts. Your best friend loves flowers, so use silicon flower molds! If your mom loves the smell of Lavender, make this lavender scented (as I did).

A lot of lotion companies intentionally don’t disclose what’s in their products- scents, colorants, preservatives, etc because they are terrible and toxic for you. That’s why you can have total peace of mind making your own!

Customize it!

The great part about these is that you can customize the scents. Do you struggle with stress or anxiety like I do (who doesn’t? haha) the check out this blog I did about 6 Essential Oil Blends For Stress & Anxiety or if you don’t want a blend, and just want one essential oil then check out The Essential Oil Stress Kit (+ FREE printable!) which features individual essential oils that are great for stress & anxiety. I got you.

The essential oil I chose is a blend of different lavender strains and it is literally to die for. It smells way better and well rounded to me than just a single strain of lavender. It’s like the scent of ultimate relaxation!
