Okay, I feel the need to say this before I continue, but there is no silver bullet for stress.
I’m a strong believer in a whole body approach to stress and anxiety, and I know for some that involves medication. Everyone’s journey is different.
I believe having scents that naturally work to calm us is just one small part of stress relief.
Have you worked out recently? How is your diet? How is your spiritual life? Are you digitally addicted? Do you have too many things on your calendar? These are daunting and invading questions but I encourage you to ask yourself them!
I suggest purchasing whichever ones you can without going over your budget. If it’s just one of these, that is okay! Don’t stress! (pun intended haha) I write later which one I would get if I could get any one of these, just from my personal scent preference.
Whichever ones you do purchase I suggest using them individually and using them in combinations with one another to find scents you like.
Lastly, I am giving these recommendations off of my own personal experience and research. You may hate the way that these smell, or you might love it. I have no way of knowing. Use your best discretion.
*Side note: Legitimate versions of this are very expensive, for not that much oil anyways. I love the smell of this, but would not recommend it unless you have a larger budget.
As a side note: if there is any of these I could chose, it would be this one! I put it in my diffuser every night as I go to sleep and also use it in other ways!
*I highly recommend this as it’s affordable, from a great and reputable brand, and I find the blend of all the different lavender hybrids to be the best smelling by far.
* Side note: chamomile roman is different than chamomile german. When you are looking to purchase any essential oils not through the link I provide below, please make sure the name in the ingredients is “anthemis nobilis”
8. Eucalyptus Citriodora
Scent profile: leafy & woody
Character: soundness, trust, vitality, harmonious
Side note: eucalyptus citriodora is different than plain eucalyptus. When you are looking to purchase any essential oils not through the link I provide below, please make sure the name in the ingredients is “eucalyptus citriodora”
This is a lifestyle blog for women who want to grow and learn and become better versions of themselves. Authenticity is the most important part of this. None of us are perfect, and as Ijeoma Umebinyuo said, “I am too full of life to be half loved.” Thank you for reading.
